The college awards prizes and certificates every year to meritorious student and to students who excel in cultural activities and sports. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has introduced a special award, “Student of the Year” annually for an all round meritorious student.
The college Library has a collection of about thirty thousand books. The college also subscribes to a number of journals and periodicals which are on display in the library.

Internet facilities are available for use in the college by students, teachers and other staff of the college. The library too has internet connectivity. A network resource center has been set up in the college, adjacent to the general staff room of the college.
The college believes in the principle – ‘health is wealth.’ To achieve this goal, the college has very recently acquired multigym facilities for its students (both boys and girls) for the development of their physical health and fitness.
The Canteen of the college supplies food to the students at subsidized rate.The teachers and non-teaching staff of the college also avail of this facility and the canteen also caters to provide refreshment for the college functions and University examinations. Recently the canteen has got its face lift and the new canteen is obviously more accommodating for the students.
The college has a large playground which helps the students to get involved in various outdoor activities. Among the various outdoor games football, cricket, volleyball, badminton are played regularly. Moreover,annual sports meet is held on this ground.
The college has two common rooms, one for boys and the other for girl students of the college. The common rooms are equipped with provision for indoor games like carrom, chess and table tennis.

The College felt the serious accommodation problem of girl students coming from distant areas and appealed to the University Grants Commission (UGC) for financial assistance. The three-storied Women’s Hostel constructed within the college premises by the Public Works Department after getting financial assistance from UGC had started its operation from 2018. Bonafide female students, research scholars and Interns from any College, University and Academic Institution can avail accommodation.

All regular students of the College are members of the Students' Union, a representative body of elected students. Student representation is present in many committees with the Students’ Union General Secretary present as member in such committees including the Governing Body. They play constructive role in the general activities of the college. It is entrusted with the task of organizing Freshers' Welcome and Annual Social Function, Annual Sports and Cultural Competition, Saraswati Puja with the help of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college. They play a key role in the Awarenessprogrammes, Blood Donation Camp and various Community Welfare Service organized by the college.
